At Four Winds, worship is an experience seeking to recapture the greatest aspect of the Church - its willingness to interact with culture, dwell in it, and understand it, earning the right to speak to it and influence it (where needed).

The music you'll hear inside might sound a lot like the music you listened to in your car on the way over. We use artistry and imagery as well as words to convey meaning. It's a place where you can hear the message of God in familiar language. It's a place where our passions, our concerns, our visions and our desires find their fulfillment. A place where we discover what we were made to do.

Music is one form of connecting to our Father - as is working a job, studying God's Word or caring for others or simply loving God.

We should love Jesus way too much - and value the creative Spirit within ourself way too much - to box our relationship with Him and our response to that relationship with Him (which is our worship) into only music.

When Christianity begins to base the quality of worship on Character rather than talent - we will begin to create culture in the midst of running into it.
